Bionova Process Challenge Devices (PCD) by Terragene are designed to simulate a biological indicator placed in a large hospital pack and emulate the 16-towel pack challenge described in AAMI-ST79.
Pack Assembly & Components:
• Pre-assembled Disposable Test Pack: Contains a fluorescence SCBI, a Type 5 Integrator Indicator, and a self-adhesive Record Card.
• Porous Card Matrix: Components are held within a stack of porous cards that poses resistance to steam penetration.
• External Enclosure: The ensemble is contained within a cardboard box featuring a Type 1 Process Indicator that changes color upon steam exposure.

2. KPCD222-2 / KPCD222-C: BT222 SCBI (1 hour at 60°C)

4. KPCD225-2 / KPCD225-C: BT225 SCBI (7 sec at 60°C)
